4000 Series Heaters arrive to be set up to operate at 40,000 BTU/hr. The box has a kit that enables users to convert the BTU setting to 30,000. Infrared Heaters direct the line of sight radiant heat to floor-level objects, which heat surrounding air to the desired temperature. High-intensity heaters are ideal for use in drafty or windy conditions like a loading dock or auto mechanic bays where doors open during winter. Dock personnel and floor-level objects will benefit from comfortable warmth like the sun's rays despite wind and cold. This particular heater uses a power pile ignition fueled by liquid propane. It ships with a thermostat; no electricity or direct venting is required for operation. A ten-year, pro-rated burner assembly warranty and a limited one-year gas control warranty protect Heatstar high-intensity heaters.
